I am pretty sure this will provoke a few different views but, my contract is up very soon i have a HTC Desire S love it but its screen is hard to see and also it has a few things that i dont like, bad signal no ability to connect to 3g in the UK its been fixed twice and replaced but no joy, so new phone time.

Out of the three, if you had the option for a new phone which one and why?

Even though it's nice to hear other people views on certain phones, but sometimes opinions are what causes many confusion. What I would suggest to yo is - go on line and check out reviews on all three phones. You must have some idea of what you're looking for from a phone. This way your decision would be based on your knowledge of the phone, and not a bunch of opinions based on what the individual like for themselves.

Best of luck.

I am wavering toward the HTC but i seen so many mixed reviews of each one that i am so unsure, for example they say the S2 is amazing but cheap feeling, the HTC is well built but the connectors for the aerials are small and maybe not very good. So many mixed reviews its hard to decide.

Thanks for the help :)

I get your point, I made my choice a couple of weeks ago & went with the ATRIX
The Specs on the S2 are amazing & the screen is great (a bit overrated) , but I didn't like the build quality & the iPhone-ish loo
The Sensation is cool & Sense 3.0 is awesome, but too expensive & the whole death grip issue kinda scared me from pulling the trigger
Regarding the Atrix , I might be a bit biased here ,but I had my eye on the Atrix since they announced it & im a fan of Motorola's build quality, speakers & designs

The best things to do is :
Check the forums of each device
Go to s store & check them personally

"Cheap feeling" isn't an issue that can't be fixed. The SGS2 is the best phone in the world (as said by many professional reviewers). That "cheap feeling" can easily be remedied with a case.

Well i have narrowed it down to to the HTC and the S2 i am still working it out, i love the thinness of the S2 and the power, but i like the feel of the HTC.

Not bothered about Sense or Touch-whiz going to put Go Launcher X

but thank you for the help, :)

So after quite a long time thinking about and playing with Phones i think it is time to pick so its a Samsung Galaxy S2 i will go for should arrive next week. but thanks for the help :)

Sweet choice! I have the SGS2 an it's a monster phone, totally amazing! You might have some issues with battery duration at first, but that can be easily solved. Other than that, imo, today it's the best Android phone! I've owned many Android phones, so I guess I can say that lol

I love it, its a really greet phone,i changed the launcher to Go Launcher X and bought a metal case, (only so that if it fails it will fall back first)

Its fast, like stupidly fast.. it does get hot when playing music and internet-ing but so did my iphone and any other phone i had since they came out with 3G. The screen is bright in all conditions. The battery can last about a day and a half but in normal use its a bout 15 hours which is not stunning but i have had much worse. Its really well designed so is all good :)

Since you have an i9100 from what I can tell and you live in the uk, check out DarkyRom for your sgs2. I have the att version of the sgs2 and love it, and I am averaging 18 - 24 hours in between charges with a stock bloated att rom, that is rooted as well as sim unlocked. When I was using my dead Captivate, I ran DarkyRom xxjvs beta and loved it. I am trying to see how to get the i9100 rom to run under the i777 *att sgs 2* and see if I can get some DarkyRom on my phone.

HTH,
