HTC SMS......I'm over it!

Thunderbolt owner here. New to smart phones and Android. I installed GoSMS pro and I really like it, but I keep getting double messages. I know about disabling notifications in the stock sms settings, I've got everything that I can turn off..off. Still getting double messages. How do you force GO SMS to default? This is really pissing me off.

Have you tried a reboot after turning off notifications? I don't use a third party sms app myself but I know of one case where this helped.
