HTC Sync Won't!

OK. So I read all the threads I could find on this and other forums (fora?).

I haven't found a solution.

However, I did notice something really weird.

When HTC Sync starts, it opens a window, showing the details of the sync. First is says "Preparing data from PC", then "Analyzing". THEN, is does the exact same again:

"Preparing data from PC", then "Analyzing".

I guess that's why data from the phone never gets transferred to the PC.

This is nuts. Does anyone have any ideas?

The obvious questions... have you tried:

1. Rebooting both your computer and phone?

2. Uninstalling HTC Sync, rebooting, re-installing, rebooting?
