HTC Task Manager

So I have a simple question...does the HTC Task Manager do anything on my EVO3D or does it only "manager tasks" when I open it and X out of stuff? I googled this and couldnt find anything out there on it.

I am not looking for a philosophical discussion on task managers...I've seen how most feel about them in here

It's probably set for manual stopping of apps. I still have to recommend you don't even use it.

I use it from time to time. It's nice for apps that have failed to load. It's useful at times.

My camera randomly freezes, as does my Facebook, and it's a great tool to use kill the application instead of waiting a minute for the error window to pop up.
