HTC Thunderbolt Download/Upload Speeds

I have a question for those people on here in 4g areas with their HTC THunderbolt. I currently live in a 4G LTE area near St Louis, Missouri. Here is my dilemma. Here is the most recent speedtest.net results that I am getting with my phone. Wondering if this is normal. I also tried FCC test and got the same results.

Download: 2.25
Upload: 19.30
Ping: 160

I did about 6 tests, each varying slightly from the previous. Shouldn't my download be faster than my upload. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Speedtest isn't giving accurate upload speeds. Use speakeasy. I live in st. louis (webster groves) and am getting anywhere from 10 mbps to a whopping 30mbps download. anywhere from 2-3 upload. Very impressed with the 4g.

Don't use any of the speedtest apps. LTE screws up the apps for some reason. Use the actual speedtest.net website or go to speakeasy.net/speedtest. I'm in St. Louis and in all of the full blown LTE areas I get 20-36Mbps down and 2-4Mbps up. In the extended areas I get about 7-14Mbps down and 2-4Mbps up.

Ping: 174
Download: 18.13
Upload: 2.07

That is more like it.

I did Speakeasy's speedtest a few days ago on the display unit in my local Verizon and got 22 down and I can't remember the up figure, here in the San Francisco Bay Area.

If you're saying the app is more accurate you must be mistaken. I've even used mobile hotspot to test it and I get the exact same speeds as going straight through the phone. At my house which is in a bit of a valley, I get anywhere from 7-14Mbps down (about 9Mbps on average) and about 2.8Mbps up consistently. This is why I just keep the phone on wifi at home because through Charter I get about 18-20Mbps down, so my home internet is still faster. Although for me, just having a phone with wifi is amazing since I had the Storm 1.

I use wifi at home as well. I am getting close to 40 mbps down and 6 up. Plus it keeps my battery in check. I also have charter internet.
