Nice to see the phone in action, but that has to be one of the most boring review videos I've seen. He didn't even use the camera app or anything. I think most people know you can scroll in a webpage. lol

Nice to see it includes a class 4 Sandisk (apologies if this was mentioned in a different video earlier and I missed it)

Sandisks have the fastest benchmark speeds of all major cards. Remember: class 4 is the MINIMUM speed rating... but in benchmarks they often reach speeds that a class 6 or even 8 card would

Great news!

It's unfortunate that the only guy who we know has this device makes videos where he just reads us all the specs we already know. How about the camera? Battery life? etc.

That was the most boring video I've ever seen. He only showed things we've seen a hundred times in the CES demos. I wanted to see more camera/video use. Test the flash, give us a loaded and unloaded battery test... show us the notification light and how bright it is, and try to use handcent to change it's color. Download a touch screen accuracy test app... **** do SOMETHING.

Ugh, I'm sorta pissed.

Not nice, he posts here.

He's gotten better as he goes. You can tell he keeps researching more each video he does. Just hasn't gotten to the points we all want. Every time he tells us the screen size.

Really, I always enjoy seeing these videos and seeing the device and seeing someone use it and everything. Absolutely better than nothing :).

But I'm definitely more interested in seeing how the camera performs because there's no information on how well it works. How well does the 720p video recording work? Will the 8.0MP camera replace a point and shoot digital camera for 99% of tasks, or does it look like crap and can only really be used for facebook pictures? How about the 1.3MP FFC? What's the pictures look like on it? Just a few quick pictures taken by this phone posted somewhere might give us some indication of these interesting facets of this phone.

How about the battery life? Is it reasonable? You don't have to go super scientific about it, but it might be useful to know how long it lasts with screen on a minimum usable setting on the home screen.

Again, I'm very happy to see the reviews... it's just I'm sure I speak for everyone that we are foaming at the mouth with anticipation for how well the much lauded features actually function. :)

Yeah no offense but in part 1 when he covered the phone with another phone to compare size he did it as the tbolt was booting up and missed three quarters of the cool lightening boot. I wanted to kill him lol!! But thanks Bob, its appreciated :)

I'm willing to bet that the Inspire's camera is the same as on the Thunderbolt.

If you guys check out the Inspire forum, they have a post for new owners to upload pics taken w/ the Inspire. They look pretty good so far.
