So, I know that I am a bit behind on this, but a new G1 like device? This looks awesome! I had my sights on the Nexus One, but my hopes were dashed against the rocks when the N1 disapeared from the US market. 
So, I began to look into other T-Mobile Android phone (I hopefully switching to one soon after the death of my ill-fated BlackBerry and being stuck on a crappy Samsung dumbphone, or the t139). So I began looking at the first phone I considered, the MyTouch Slide, but it doesn't have the power I want. The Samsung Vibrant looks nice, but I have discovered software issues that a lot of people are complaining about, and poor battery life. Plus, the lack of a notification light really bugs me. I had all but given up on a phone I could be happy with, until I found out about the HTC "Vision," which many are now calling the T-Mobile G1 Blaze. Could this be the phone I have quested for? Rumored 1Ghz processor would be great, but I don't know much more about this phone. Any one more current than me have any info for me?
