Huawei ascend and Music 3.0

I was trying to Install music 3.0 (latest version) on my phone and got a parse error.
I've read online that the app could be used in 2.1 but I have tried downloading and from several sources and get parse errors... want this really bad. it is so much cooler and sleek looking than previous versions
anyone ported this for 2.1 or would you like to? or even possibly clone it? I have no experience with this sort of stuff yet. PLEASE HELP! On A rooted huawei ascend stock rom

What are the exact steps you are going through to install it? If you are going through the browser, that will typically cause the parse error you refer to. Best thing to do is navigate to it with a File Browser (like root explorer) and run it from there.
