Huawei Ascend G312 U8681

I have a Huawei Ascend G312 U8681 ... I did a factory reset multiple times, and now pretty much every major function (installing/upgrading apps, gmail) gives

android.process.media has stopped. And it aborts.

This was post rooting, though I didn't do anything major there.

Is there any way to give an even harder reset?

Welcome to Android Central! I probably won't be of much help, but the one thing I'd ask is if you have an external SD card inserted. If so, remove it and see if you continue to get these error messages.

Yes, I had removed it once to check. And created another google account to check if any saved info was causing it. Both times I did a factory reset and the same problems occurred.
