Huawei Ascend y300

Hi, Was just windering if anybody knows if you can input character symbols on the Huawei Ascend y300? I wasnt to be able to insert symbols such as ? ? ? etc. Would be very grateful if somebody could explain how to do this! Thanks

perhaps installing a language pack that contains the symbols and setting it as default? french, i assume.
