Welcome to Android Central! Are you seeing that as an error message? If so, what does the error say, and when does it show up?

If your internal storage is truly damaged, then the phone is probably unusable, and any data that was stored on the phone's internal storage is lost. Hopefully you backed it up or synced it somewhere.
