Huawei Mate 10 Pro screen problem

Recently i have discovered a problem with the screen on my Mate 10 Pro. When i have low screen brightness and use the phone in a low-light environment, the top half has this green matrix-ish pattern when displaying dark or black material. It makes everything on the top of the screen seem kinda green and distorted, but this is only when the screen brightness is low.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
Should i return it?

Can't say I've noticed that with mine. Screen uniformity seems spot on.

I would recommend that you return it. That isn't acceptable for a flagship device

I have the Huawei dimming issue between apps which is different than what you have but annoying none the less. This software is really bad.

Can you elaborate on your problem?

Sure so when I'm in the launcher I get a brighter brightness then say I'll go into Gmail or Chrome and the screen will dim 10-15% then go back into Google now and it goes back up. In the XDA forum one guy called Huawei and they said they were aware of it and we're fixing it in 8.1.

Oh wow. That would really suck. Not sure why it would do that

I'm facing the same issue. With the minimum brightness..
Have you reported it to Huawei? And what did they say?

I'm just curious. Some people on XDA also mention about this screen issue. I have used my Mate 10 Pro for almost 2 months and never seen the same issue. Maybe you can try the solution A in this repair tutorial of Mate 10 Pro screen replacement. This feels like it is a software issue. I think it will be changed with a EMUI upgrade.
