Huawei Mate 9 HDR since update doesn't allow brightness adjust anymore?

Since my Mate 9 updated earlier this week to 8.0.0, My HDR no longer gives me an option for the brightness adjustment at the focal point. This was really as just adding a little brightness helped out my photos. Does anyone know if I can get this function back or will it be fixed soon? Otherwise Im still loving this phone.
