Huawei P Smart Sending tones to my home phone during call?

When away from home I need to listen to my messages on the house phone at home. Will my mobile send these tones while I'm on the line to my answer facility?

Yeah, once your call is placed and your home messaging system picks up, you can bring up the dial pad and use it to send the 'tones' to it, just like you would with any other system that asks you to dial in a number or press any of the special keys.
