Huawei P20pro and instagram...

Hello AC!

I was a frequent user of Windows Central until jumping to iOS 3 years ago.. and here I am with my first Android device the Huawei p20pro.. I'm enjoying it but it's taking some learning.. which is why I'm here!!

Anyway I've got a weird glitch on Instagram where I don't have full functionality of the stories function. I can post a story but not add to the story with a second or more as is normal and as was the case on the iPhone. Tried uninstalling, clearing cache, and a variety of things that I thought might work but to no avail. It's a bummer as it's my main social app and I enjoy this feature. Is this a known thing? It's also very jittery when navigating side to side in IG - a notch issue?

Anyway any thoughts welcome!

i have the p20 pro and instagram but never used stories ..... everything i do on Instagram works perfectly . lol what exactly is stories .

I had the exact same issue with my P20. I added a story and could not add more if I wanted which is odd.

I'm not sure if this is a P20 thing or not, but I never had issues previously. Hopefully it will be sorted soon.

Try disabling the notch in the display settings close the app and go back to it and try again. A couple YouTube reviews pointed out some issues with the phone and Instagram. If that doesn't work email the developer.
