Huawei P9 EVA-L09 Bricked So Hard?

Hi!

I was trying to update my P9 to nougat all was going well, until during the installation process it said 'Reset Failed'

Now this brick is stuck in a boot loop, unable to get into fastboot or any combination of buttons

Anyone know a software fix?

Or shall I just give this to Trump?

download any rom file and move it inside "dload" folder on the sdcard.
then force flash the rom by pressing all 3 buttons(volume up, down, and power) for 5-8 seconds, a Huawei icon will pop.
