Huge EVO push at NASCAR's Sprint All-Star Week last week

I went to Charlotte, NC last week for NASCAR's huge Sprint All-Star Week. Everywhere you turned around Charlotte at and away from the track you saw the Evo. It was plastered everywhere! Plugged at the thursday night festival in the streets of Charlotte with Switchfoot and all weekend at the track. They had booths set up showing the phone where you could play with it even some displays with the hotspot feature with some notebooks and an app pulled up showing the speeds. There were many contests to even win a free Evo. The television coverage on FOX and SPEED also plugged it constantly even using an Evo to twitter live the results of the driver voted into the race by the fans.

That's pretty cool. I'm glad to see Sprint starting the ad's for this phone.

Its an interesting choice for marketing. they have been using it and showing it during racing broadcasts nonstop.
my mom the nascar fan even knows all about the Evo. I started to describe it to her last week and she knew what I was talking about and how to use it. i was shocked!

They were pimping it alright, but you'd think the VP of marketing there to pimp it on TV would have the specs down and have a better response when asked about it. lol

"it's a great phone, it's got a 4.3 camera , uh uh a 8MP Camera, 4G, the uhhh first 4G phone in the nation...uhhhh"
