So I just put cyanogenmod 7 on my phone and everything was running great. Then out of no where my SD card went wack and apparently got damaged. I had to put it into my computer and reformat it because it wouldn't work through the phone. Now I lost everything. I'm getting force closes left and right and I'm pulling my hair out. Someone help. I wish Google remembered all the apps I had installed because now I have to sit and remember all 179 apps. Ugh!!!!!

have you tried restoring the previous rom it should still have all the apps
but if you erased the sd card you might be sol ....what i have learned while trying different roms is writing down apps before i wipe then at least i have a true hard copy to refer back to ....sorry it's not probably what you wanted but well it is what it is

App Brain is another good tool for keeping track of unpaid apps.

The force closes are probably for apps that store some data or settings on the SD card. If you reinstall those apps it should recreate those missing directories.

I know that this is closing the gate after the cow has escaped, but it is important to make regular backups of your SD card to your computer. SD cards do go bad and can become corrupted.

App brain will remember every app but your best bet is Titanium backup. It allows you to create restore points and you will also be able to do batch backups and restores. Marketplace will remember if you purchased apps so you wont have to re buy them.

I did have appbrain on here before but now that I have reinstalled it, it force closes as soon as I try to open it along with a rob of other apps. Could this be caused by setcpu messing things up? Or should I try moving all of my apps to the phone storage?

At this point I would re-download the same version of CM7 you were using from here

CyanogenMod Mirror Network - Powered by TDRevolution

Then in recovery, wipe cache and dalvik, reload the ROM and run fix permissions. Reboot and see if you are still getting force closes. the .android and the Android/data directories are stored on the SD card and a reload should fix that.
