Hope everyone stays safe during this hurricane 🌀... I'm in the direct path come tomorrow. Enough already with these storms...

Again, stay safe out there...😊

Agreed. It's been a crazy year. My parents and other family members live in north Louisiana and it's been the worst they've seen. I'm sure, down south it's just insane. Stay safe.

The storms seem to have the same landfall areas as well. Only good thing about this one is the water is cool. I hope your parents don't run into any issues. Looks like a mild wind event with a lot of rain here. The tracker has it in my city for tomorrow eve but no preparations needed. We lose power in small storms here, so I'm charged up.

My thing, I've got a rally to get to Thursday. Lol. I'm headed to W Alabama Thurs morning. This thing needs to get out of here...🤣

Down here in Florida and understand Hurricane fatigue. Be safe and stay aware of PTSD like feelings amongst your self and family members.

My brother is in the panhandle...Destin, Ft Walton beach area.

I used to live about 5 minutes east of Navarre and went to Choctawhatchee... How cool.

Yes, they are going to be fine with this storm. I'm in Clanton myself here, so it should get interesting. My bike is covered...lol

Thank you. Yes, too many storms this year. My father deals with the PTSD, thunder is an issue with him.

I'm sick of dealing with debris cleanup here. But no sooner than I say this, we will be dealing with winter weather.

It probably won't get too bad here. I'm thinking limbs and such but nothing major. Up to 57 mph gusts which is nothing major.

I am worried about NOLA myself. They don't need this...

10pm update below...

That’s one difference LA to FL since latitude differences.

We made it here. We were the hardest hit in the state. Two large trees came down barely missing my jeep. Roof damage and all. But we are fine, nobody was injured...

I was just about to ask if you and your family were okay. So glad you made it without injury!

Thank you. Yes everyone escaped any injuries. We now have plenty of firewood if anything. I went out of town myself to a bike rally and let the lawn gents take care of the tree mess... We lost power for about 10 hours and we're very lucky since many in my town were out over a week. My power is on the hospital grid, so we were blessed. :-)
