Android Central Question

I've searching for so long now, I upgraded to android 11 and now my phone is having some heating issues and it sometimes smells burnt on the charging port, I need to downgrade to android 10, im using Samsung A30s, XFA region how or where do I request the Firmware???? Please help

If you are smelling something burnt, I would take it to a repair shop and have them investigate the source. A burnt smell indicates a possible hardware failure, such as an electrical short that can pose a fire danger. Firmware updates don't cause that sort of symptom.

Welcome to Android Central! Heating issues don't necessarily indicate a problem with the firmware. There are a number of things that can cause the phone to heat up, like poor cell signal or a malfunctioning app. How is your cell signal? Use an app like GSam Battery Monitor to determine that. You can also try using the phone in Airplane Mode (you can still turn on wi-fi) to see if that prevents the phone from heating up.

It's also worth using the phone in Safe Mode to see if the problem persists: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-galaxy-a30s/safe-mode/

Some glitches can occur after system updates, related more to some faulty data left behind rather than the update itself. Try wiping the cache partition to see if that helps: https://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-galaxy-a30s/recovery-mode/
