Hyperion 4200 Case?

Hey guys,

I'm thinking about picking this extended battery up, but my main concern with it is a case. I have a Otterbox Communter, and I'm assuming that with the new back it just won't fit in there. Do any of you that use this battery use a case as well? If so what case fits?

I have the Hyperion 4200 it does make the s3 bit thicker. But I like that the original was just to thin and light. The extended battery adds just enough thickness and weight to be comfortable. I wouldn't use another case with it I don't see a reason to. JMHO

Disagree. You still need a case if you want to protect your phone. I have the Hyperion ext batt as well and love the thickness and weight it adds to the phone. The back cover is still very slippery and dropping the phone from it slipped out of your hand is a problem. Yeah any case that fits the original phone is not going to fit with the ext battery. I ordered the Hyperion TPU Case for Extended Battery and it feels great. Not going to give you the protection of an Otterbox but it improves the grip significantly and will protect against cracks if dropped. I found it on Amazon for like 12 bucks w/ shipping.

You can still use your otterbox with your hyperion somebody has a mod for it. Defender mod w/ Extended Battery - xda-developers
