I’m logged out of snapchat and I can’t get back in

I’m logged out of snapchat and it’s asking for a verification code but I can’t get it because I got a new number .how do I get back into snapchat?

Email Snapchat at snapchat@snap.com and ask for their assistance. Include the old phone number, the new phone number and, if you have to your your email address into snapchat, your email address. (This is why it's a good idea to use a Google Voice number as your phone number and have it ring your cellphone. Then if you change phone number, just change it in GV - everyone still calls the GV number to get you. If you don't want to change the number everyone uses to call you, speak to your carrier about porting your number out to GV and getting a new number. [Porting out normally closes the account.] Then port your current number into GV [it's a one-time $20 fee] and you'll never have to worry about losing a number again. [I'm on about my 5th number since GV started, and never had the carrier port my "old number", I just changed the number in GV each time. The only time I changed the number was when I retired and moved a few states away - some stores around here gave me the old "you have to have a local number" nonsense, so I added a Google account, got a local number on it, and had it send calls to my phone. What they don't know doesn't bother me. It works for voice and for texts.])

Not doubting your situation or anything, but having verification codes for log in helps keep people from hijacking or snooping through other people's accounts. Like Rukbat said above, you're going to have to prove that you're the owner of the account. Emailing them is a good start. They'll probably email you a password reset link to the email used to create the account.
