I accidentally locked myself out of my fingerprint scanner and forgot my password. How can I get around this?

I accidently locked myself out of my fingerprint scanner and forgot my password.

I was locked out of my fingerprint scanner due to to many tries. I forgot my password. This occured before and I was able to unlock it using droid manager. I forgot the steps on how to do this. I have an HTC One Max 8.
