My finger print won't scan and I forgot my backup password

Welcome to Android Central! This is why you really need to remember your backup password--the fingerprint scanner is not foolproof.

If you fail the unlock process enough times, does it ask for your Google credentials?

If u can login into ur Samsung account online u are able to disable lock screen authentication
