I have never had a OnePlus, currently have the Note9, but I am on T-Mobile and I just want the OP6T for some reason
I'm in the exact same boat you are. There's nothing spectacular to me about this phone, I just want it. Samsung is great, but a change of pace and a break from the norm is always fun.
I definitely just want a new toy, I was considering the Razer, but the OnePlus 6T seems to be a better fit since it has the bigger screen and is on T-Mobile.
But I pretty much have no complaints about the Note9

I get this. Though I've gone back and forth between the 6T and the V40. Samsung was my change of pace, having had several LG devices. Trouble is, I'm still on the S8 and I've got the itch. But nothing really tempts me. This phone has been great, but I'm a nerd just wanting a new toy.
Ahahahahah I do the same. Had the note 9 and loved it. But I keep switching. I recently just ordered the Razer and I'm waiting for it to arrive. Probably get the 6t also just haven't decided yet. I'll try the Razer first. 6t does look awesome. Only thing I don't like is the lack of wireless charging. That's one of my favorite features of a device.I definitely just want a new toy, I was considering the Razer, but the OnePlus 6T seems to be a better fit since it has the bigger screen and is on T-Mobile.

So I did it, I am going to miss the wireless charging, but the phone is cool, and a decent bit smaller than the Note9, which I would prefer the bigger size

I've asked in another thread but I'll ask here too, how's the display compared to Samsung's? I know it's not as good, but it's not that big of a step back, is it?
I literally have it and the Note9 side by side, and it is pretty good. It doesn't pop like Samsung's does, but if it wasn't directly next to the Note9, I would have a hard time telling the difference.
It is a slight bit smaller, that is more of the adjustment for me
I made the switch from a Note 9 as well, and I totally agree with you. It's significantly lighter than the 9 too.
Any regret yet? How were you liking your Note9, that's the weird part for me, I loved my Note9. But I just wanted the OnePlus 6T.
I am going to hold onto my Note9 for a few weeks just to make sure I don't miss it.
No regrets yet. Funny you say that though because I felt the same. I just wanted it, but I did a deferred trade in with TMO so I still have my Note 9 here too. It's not without some trade offs though so it depends on what's really important. So far I like it a lot, quirks and all. Camera is well below the Note, and I didn't think I'd miss the AOD or notification light, but I kind of do. On the other hand, I absolutely love the gesture options. It's nearly identical to the iPhone 10/10X and that was the ONE thing I actually liked about those phones. And it's fast and light with roughly the same screen size and less bulk. I don't know about you, but the FPS has been pretty awesome since I redid my fingerprints. Erica Griffin posted her review/unbox video and she mentioned she took her main fingerprint at an angle instead of straight on because that's how she normally handles her phone. I did the same and it's been spot on since. The face ID works really well too, but of course only in good light.
