i am running a manual ICS update.. could i still get the ota?

If you're running the leaked ICS it will be fine as it's not a hack per se, just a software update.

It's not like a cell phone update that runs a bunch of checks because they're worried about a conflict or something.

Don't want to hijack but I actually have the no root ICS on mine - I'd prefer to go back to factory stock and get the update that way - no issue with completely wiping tablet prefer that actually.

How did it work out for you? I haven't received anything but "device is up to date" so no ota for me.

If anyone is able to get it with the manual ICS build please let us know, driving me crazy right now with the "Your Device is up to date" message...

I tried it, and still nothing...

Same here. It doesn't make sense to me that we wouldn't be able to get it if we're running the leaked version but I'd feel better if someone reported in that it worked for them. I installed the Acer Update app from the market Thursday and have re-installed it a few times since then to see if it helped but still getting the message that I'm up to date.

Do we need to go back to the former stock version? Or wait for a zip from someone who updated already?

Someone on XDA posted the update.zip. I went that route and so far so good

I downloaded and tried to install. It attempts to install but after about ten seconds shows me an android robot with his stomach opened up and an exclamation point error sign. Any ideas?

I just asked this in another note string, but what happens to those with a Thor ROM installed? Can I get some advice on how to get from here to the new ICS? Do I need to do something in recovery mode or??? I have no clue how to get back to stock to move forward, or if I have to?

Thanks
