Welcome to Android Central! Have you saved the photos to the phone yet? Long-press the photo in the messaging app to see if you get a Save option. Then connect the phone to the computer via USB and use Windows Explorer to move the photos from the Downloads folder to the computer hard drive. Some messaging apps might save photos to a different folder, so you may have to look in some of the other folders on the phone.

You could also upload the photos (after saving them to the phone) to your Google+ Photos or Google Drive, then access them from your computer that way through the cloud.
