When I plug in my Samsung Galaxy Note 5 on a Verizon plan into my Windows 10 laptop I am unable to access any of the files. It will recognize it as "SM-N920V," but when I open the device it just shows the message "This folder is empty."
So far here are the things I've tried:
-updating all drivers that have anything to do with the USB connection to the device
-uninstalling drivers
-enabling USB debugging
-changing the "Use USB for" option from "Charge this phone" to "File transfer"
-using a different USB cable
-using a different USB port
-using a different computer (though if I remember correctly when I plugged it into my sister's laptop randomly sometime I think it did work then)
