I bought a galaxy note 5 and put in my sim card and it shows roaming,.

AC Question

okay so i bought a note 5 from a person and he said it is unlocked, it was from sprint but now you can use any network. I plugged in my verizon sim card to check and it made a call, then when I came home I realized that the signal bar has a r above it which means roaming, also the top says sprint network or preferred network. I can still make calls but I think verizon is going to charge me more. What should I do?

Verizon shouldn't charge you more - "roaming" is generally a thing of the past.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you checked to make sure Verizon has properly registered the phone on their network?
