I can connect to device via wifi, but apps cant connect to the device.

I have a 360 panoview camera that my android phone can find via WIFI and connect (pair) to but not one single app can "pair" / find with the camera (device).

Why?

My phone has been reset per app, uninstalled and reinstalled with 5 different apps tried.

I have also tried different patterns / timings of turning device wifi on and off with phone. the SSID and password are correct in every instance.

The camera even shows up in the wifi list in the app. but it still wont connect.

Could there be a permission / security block to allowing the device to work?
