I can not get a data connection since updating to Android version 5.0.2, why?

i can not get a data connection since updating to android version 5.0.2

the phone updated ok but after it restarted i could not get a data connection.i can still get free wi fi ,i re entered the APN details but still won't connect. LG G2 mini, ver. 5.0.2

Welcome to Android Central! Was this an official system update pushed over-the-air by Optus? If so, bring the phone to them and show them what their update did to your phone. Ask them what they can do about it.
