i can receive email but unable to open on my nexus phone

I can receive emails on my lg nexus phone but when i want to open it says no connection and it is connected to WiFi

Check that you actually have an established connection. Either reboot the router and see if that helps. Although it's connected, it might not have an actual data connection due to the internet being down, or an issue with the router.
