I cannot download lloyds banking mobile app on Tab A

Every time I try to download the lloyds bank mobile app on my Tab A - it says it is not a compatible version

Hi,

If you're unable to download it via the store.
Then it's better to download the apk from it's official site and then install it manually.

The app is not on their official site - only available on play store. It's quite strange as I easily downloaded it on my old Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 series 1 and now I have bought a Galaxy TAB A , it won't download as it says the app version is not compatible with the device. .

Just google it you fill find 'n' number of sites with download link available for that apk.

I have the exact same problem. My banking app became suddenly non compatible with my device. I can't even redownload the app. It doesn't even appear on my screen. Really frustrating. Does swapping to an I pad from my Samsung help?

What phone do you have? Is it on an Old version of android? Some banking apps stop working with Marshmallow and Nougat.

Welcome to Android Central! It could also be an issue with the app developer. Try contacting them and asking them about it.

It sounds like a "your device is too old to run this app" problem. Not iPhone, newer Android. (A new iPhone would probably work too - at much greater expense. An iPhone 4, or maybe even a 5, probably won't. Banking apps need the latest security measures.)
