I can't bypass Gmail verification after factory resetting my phone

My kids accidentally factory reset my phone & I can't get back into it..when I get to the Gmail verification page im having trouble because I had someone else help me set it up.so is there a way to get past it

No. Unless those details are entered, the phone is useless.

You can try logging into your gmail account with a computer. When it asks you what you're having problems with, have it send you your login if you've forgotten it, then have it send you a password reset. (You'll have to go to your emailbox to get the emails - the one you entered as your contact email when you created the Google account.)

If you follow Rukbat's suggestion, you'll need to wait a day before logging in to the device. This is a security feature on all Google accounts.
