I can't change the language by sliding the space bar! What should I do? How can I change the language?

I can't change the language by sliding the space bar!

I have a samsung galaxy s4 and i had this problem it's been weeks now. I have 4 input languages enabled on my smartphone but now even if i switch between them sliding the space bar on the keyboard it does not work. Please can you help me

Welcome to Android Central! What happens if you long-press the spacebar?

I'm having the same problem..long pressing the space bar doesn't change anything, it just leaves a space on my text

Welcome to Android Central! I think the OP posted a separate thread, and noted that updating the phone to Lollipop resolved the problem. Have you done that?
