I can't find my app recycle bin icon up the top of my screen?

Hi. When you want to delete an app or icon and you drag it you get a selection of icons up the top to drag it too. All of my icon ie recycle bin have gone missing. How do I get these back please. I don't want to uninstall the app just remove the icon.

I believe an alternative way to do this is to hold your finger on the icon to display a small menu of options that have to do with that app... one of them should he 'remove shortcut' which will delete the icon off the screen

Hmm. Do you have a colored screen and maybe just it's hard to see? I just tested mine and got this screen shot. Recycle bin is just a little X (you're talking home screens right?)

See the "red square" that's with me holding the app I want to remove over the x.

I get a side pop up with options but as soon as I take my finger off the app they dissapear.

I used to get a bar of icons up the top with a recycle bin and a couple of others on it but they have not gone. So i have nowhere to delete my app icons now.

THANK YOU I WORKED IT OUT......the pop up of options stays there if i hold the icon down longer then i can choose the options. Thank you everybody.

Did you by chance turn off all animations in developer mode? If you still have the older Touchwiz version and animations off, you won't get a popup with options. You'll need to set Animator duration scale to .5x to make it work again. Or just update Touchwiz to the latest version and then you can leave all animations off.
