I can't get wifi to turn on

[AC Question]

I have tried turning wifi on thru the settings, and also thru the bar at the top of the screen. Once the icon is moved or tapped, it never really goes to the full color icon, but is rather faded looking. Nothing happens. If I touch anything else, wifi goes back to the off position. I have several other devices hooked up to the connection, one of which is a Samsung Galaxy Note II phone.

I have downloaded the user guide - no help there that I have found - any ideas?

Welcome to Android Central! Was it working fine before? Have you tried rebooting the phone? Which phone are you using?
