I cant see download progress in notification bar while downloading apps from PlayStore.

I just bought new OnePlus 6T it's running Android 9 and tried downloading some apps from PlayStore. It's not showing the download progress in notifications. I have to check the progress by opening up that specific app in PlayStore. I've checked the notification settings and they are all enabled. Please help.

It's an Android Pie thing where the apps just download and auto update (if enabled for auto app updates) in the background. Because my S9 still shows progress due to Oreo. You get used to it and frees up resources I'm assuming is the reason by Google.
