I can't see "last seen" on whatsapp

My friend told me, that she didn't hide the "last seen" on the privacy setting, but i still can't see the report of her last online,
please help me

Are you showing your status? Doing so blocks all others too. Have you had a conversation with that contact recently? Older threads stop updating status automatically. Does the status for that contact show up properly for other contacts?
