I recently upgraded from WIndows 7 to 10. I want to manually backup my screenshots to my laptop. With 7 when I connected the laptop would open two versions of file explorer and with one I could see everything internal. Now I get just 1, internal storage, I see the folder Pictures where its supposed to be but the folder is empty. I used to be able to get to the emulated but not now. I created folders with a photo app on internal storage and I cant see those either. They are supposed to be in the same folder as screenshots. I can see it all when I look on the phone but not through file manager on the laptop. Any wisdom would be appreciated. I tried loading HTC sync which was as useless as it always has been. I know I can use the cloud but thats doing the work twice.

Are you swiping down your notification bar to select USB storage, once you have connected the phone?
