Ordered a Very Silver Pixel XL with 128GB. :)

It says should arrive October 26 - 28. But, I've been through the wringer with Nexus 4, 5, 6, and 6P and had trouble every single time, so I am not going to hold my breath.

I really REALLY wanted to try these out. But after they announced the Verizon exclusivity (and without a red phone to match), that means I'm out :( There goes one JOD this year I won't use.

I took the plunge too, though the black pixel, 32gb google fi version. Due October 22-24 because I was extra foolish and paid for expedited shipping.

I think you misunderstood. Verizon is exclusive in that it is the only brick & mortar store that will sell the phone initially. But, you can buy it online from the Google Store (as I did) or the Project Fi website right now.

Either way, the phone is unlocked and will work on all major networks.

In Spook's case, I think he meant being able to use his T-Mobile Jump to get this phone.

No, I didn't. I know I can get it from Google, but that means I can't use my JOD from T-Mo or take a lease on the phone from other carriers. I can TRY a phone when I'm not paying full price in a single transaction, but when I have to buy it outright, then I better be darn sure the phone is good. So that's a 'not yet' for me because of that.
