After the IPhone 4s announcement and, watching all the videos, I couldn't take it anymore and, went to Verizon and bought the Bionic. I was going to wait on the Nexus Prime but, I think this is the phone I wanted all along. So far I like this phone very much ( I knew I would).

Re: I couldn't take and bought a Bionic!

congrats on the new phone, the Prime will no doubt be an amazing phone but the Bionic will still be right up there with it.

Congrats on your Bionic decision...it has a few flaws, but I LOVE mine - fast & smooth. Did I say fast?

Now that I bought and returned Bionic three times; Costco, BB and Radio Shack, there are now 4 simcard numbers under my account. I think I'm on the black list.:p I even opened a new account with Sprint to try out a GSE4G, and returned/terminated contract within 3 days. Sprint's 3G/4G sucks big time in Los Angeles area.!

Yeah, it's very fast. LTE is pretty good in my city also.

LOL!! I'll probably keep the Bionic, even when the Nexus Prime comes out. I'm not sure I like the look of ICS from what I've seen but, it may be better than I thought.

Sprint doesn't even have 4G in San Jose. Clown at Sprint told me,"we don't have 4G on THIS BLOCK". Duplicitous jerk!. I went home and found just 7 (?) cities in all of CA that have 4G coverage. None are in my area.

I am with ya! I was thinking about waiting but after today's info I got the bionic too. Absolutely loving it.

It doesn't surprise me that you and probably many others will be heading to the Bionic. After Moto's Droid X was phased out, there was a lull as other companies jumped into the Android market with version of their own. Got very confusing with many new smartphones running older OS versions. I waited for the next major leap in Android by checking out the iPhone4. What I discovered was that the (very pretty) iPhone was literally more than a year behind Android. After waiting for the anticipated new version, I gave up & got the Bionic. VERY glad I did because today's announcement was only an improvment on the iPhone - not a competitive move on Android. Apple is out of touch, still believing its own hype that it's ahead of the pack.

Funny I did the exact same thing today. The only thing I am not liking so far is the BS of having to pay for VVM.

You're going to end up with ICS anyway:D

This a VERY solid phone ! I do believe it will be good enough to last through a 2 year contract eventhough the Prime is looking rather nice I'm satisfied with my decision...granted I would of been happier if they released this phone when it was originally SUPPOSED to come out I'm good nontheless..
