I couldn't wait for QI charger and needed dock..

I got tired of waiting for a charger next to the bed. I came across this on Amazon:

Its the Samsung desktop charger. If you look at the image of it,it fits my nexus 4 perfectly.

My first thought was... hmm I plan on a case yet too. The thing is, the phone sits a bit forward so I think there is enough clearance on the back of the phone. I have my case coming ( Amazon.com: i-Blason Slim Fit S Line Flexible TPU Case for Google Nexus 4 Smart Phone E960 LG 8gb 16gb (Black): Cell Phones & Accessories ) on Monday. Even if its a bit tight on the left and right side of phone, I could always take the dremel to the sides of the cradle a bit. I do not think it will require much shaved off.

It sits really nice in the dock and is very stable. Plus I put a nice NFC tag on it so it does all the auto stuff as soon as I slip it it.

UPDATE:

Here are the pics. Its actually is hardly noticeable when the phone is docked.

I guess you could use a black sharpie or tape it off and paint to give it a much better look undocked.

I plan on ordering a 2nd dock for the office..

It's a bit lightweight so I'll need to fix in in place somehow but the N4 fits perfectly
