I just switched to t-mobile and am having some issues. Can i install t-mobile software on it and if so howWould also like to keep root and upgrade to 6.01 for tmobile if possible

No. I am afraid that firmware for the T-Mobile (USA) GSM network is not compatible with the G900V model of Galaxy S5 for the old, obsolete, Verizon CDMA network. See #1.5 & #1.6 of 42 Galaxy S5 models - Dummies Guide
