I don’t know what phone to get

I’m currently looking to change my iPhone 6s Plus to an android phone but I don’t know which to get. I want one with good specs that won’t go too outdated next year.
I’ve seen the Huawei Mate 10 Pro,
Honor View 10 as well as some others, my colleagues have also given me suggestions as to what phone to get including Sony and Wileyfox but I think I’ll just be copying from other people. Another thing, I don’t want a Samsung, so has anyone got any suggestions and pros and cons for them/the phones I’ve suggested?

I have a Huawei Mate 10 pro. I have just come from windows phone. So i am new to android. The phone seems great. Its fast has an awesome camera and I cant fault the phone itself. I dont use head phones so i dont miss the 3.5 jack
But..... it is running android 8 and it wont connect via Bluetooth to my car. Thats an android issue as I have found other posts on here with the same using different phones. Apparently there is a fix for it in 8.1 but the problem is how long before thats released by huawei for there phones..
credit to huawei they called me back 3 times trying to fix this before we put it as an android issue.

Go to a phone shop and handle the potential devices... You can't beat face to face and hands on.

Welcome to Android Central! If you want a phone that's most likely to stay updated for a good amount of time, then you should definitely consider a Pixel 2 or 2 XL.
