I don't know why but videos and pictures in my folder keeps disappearing

I have a folder with few videos and pictures that I view often and few days ago I found some of them were missing or I would say disappeared . I thought I accidentally deleted them but my recycle bin was empty, yesterday again 1 video disappeared. I don't know why it's happening and what's the problem with my phone . Hope u can help me . My phone is an Android

Photos and videos on internal storage or SD card? Disappeared from folder only or from phone? Backed up to Cloud storage or not?

Welcome to Android Central! Were these photos and videos taken with the Camera app, or did you download them from somewhere on the web?

My phone is a Samsung m31 model , it doesn't have a SD card all of the media files are stored in internal storage of phone . The video which disappeared were the ones I downloaded from the web . I hv checked the cloud storage and they aren't backed up there too , so I don't know what's going on with my phone

What website are you downloading the videos from? Check your Device Care settings to see if there's an option to periodically clear out the Download folder. If you have any 3rd party "phone cleaner" apps, uninstall them.
