Can I refuse lollipop? Seen it, don't like it, don't want update. Happy with kit Kat! I don't want reminders. Can I refuse, and hide update?

Have you tried:

1. Pull the notification shade down on your phone
2. Long press on the OTA notification until you see the App Info option pop up.
3. Click App Info and un-check the Show Notifications box.

I feel the same way. I am extremely happy with my g3 running on kitkat. I can't find any possible reason to update right now. I also have the auto update feature turned off in settings.

Thanks guys... That's me never getting the dreaded lollipop. Sorted, no update for me, why fix it when it's not broke.
Kitkat lover!

Yikes! I tried disabling the automatic update but it wouldnt let me. It is now updating automatically on its own without my prompting. I consider this invasive malware and I want it out of my Samsung Galaxy X-cover 3. Does anyone know of any clever and simple tricks to downgrade back to kit kat?

You can always KDZ back down to KK. But it will wipe everything so you start fresh.

One thing go do is, start fresh, root, installed Ti Backup and freeze updates.
