Welcome to Android Central! I'd recommend bringing it to a qualified repair shop to replace the screen. Also, consider getting a good case for the phone to prevent this in the future.

1. It may not be a damaged screen. Let a repair shop tell you what's wrong - don't just ask them to replace the screen.

2. I'd recommend the Otterbox Defender. They have one for the S4, as far as I can see (it's got some pink on the back, so I don't like the looks, but after what I've done to my Note 3 when it was in a Defender case, with absolutely no damage to the phone, case or what it hit [and it got flung against a wall once] I won't take it out of the case unless it's on my desk on a rubber pad). I won't drive over it, but it might actually survive it. Definitely worth the price.
