The bolt has some quality build materials though you can't compare even the most durable plastic to metal in my oponion. I have held the Bolt feels definitely sturdy, and that extended battery makes it feel even much more so. Though metal has more of a chance of standing up agaisnt impact and time. Not to mention plastic can do that ugly fading thing.
