I got 4g today?

I was in a 4g dead zone. there was 4 g a block away but not at my house. inside or outside . Then I went to turn off WiFi when I was in my driveway .I turn on 4 g by accident .and I had a very weak 4 g signal .today I have a decent 4 g signal inside of my home in a good 1 outside .with wimax going away I'm surprise that I have 4 g .

I have been noticing for about 3 weeks now that I am able to get 4G where I have not previously been able to get it. I now consistently get one bar of it in my house, where before I would have to drive about a block down the road. I wonder if it is a part of the network reallocation that the Vision rollout is supposed to do? I have also noticed improved 3G speeds lately. I am hoping this is a sign of even more to come!

I managed to take a speedtest while on 4G and i got decent numbers

No to the Verizon idea. sprint 4 g is wimax .verizon uses l t e. while close no cigar. they cannot work on each others network.

^^^ What he said. Supposedly Vision is supposed to reallocate network resources so more people can be on the network and utilize 3G better. Lol, it has been hilarious. Out here in the boonies this weekend our family members on AT& T have had absolutely no service. There are two teenaged girls willing to do dishes and cleanup duty in order to borrow our phones and text More fun time for hubby and me!
